The Stanhope Community Centre is a registered charity (Reg. Charity No. 1166351) based within the old Police Station (built in 1841). Located in the beautiful market town of Stanhope in Weardale, County Durham, the centre offers comfortable accommodation for all kinds of community events and a wide range of leisure activities for all ages and all abilities.

We have activity rooms, meeting rooms, a large hall, plus a computer suite for community use. There are on-site tea and coffee making facilities along with cooking facilities.

Room Hire
We offer several rooms at low cost rent. Whether you want to run a group session or hold a meeting or seminar our rooms offer light and comfortable rooms of various sizes.
We also have a large hall (see image 3) which is ideal for exercise classes, seminars, presentations and talks.
We also provide tea, coffee, soft drinks and light refreshments. Catering can be arranged.
